Seniors:

~ Cal Grant ~

Make sure that your school sends your GPA verification to the Cal Grant Commission if you are going to qualify for Cal Grant. The deadline is March 2nd and you will lose out on a lot of money if your school does not send it in. Note: Many schools automatically send it in for everyone, but some do not – ask your counseling office or registrars office to confirm.

~ FAFSA and CSS Profile ~

March 2nd is the final deadline for new students to apply for aid. If you have not filed – do it today!

~ Check your Portals and Emails ~

Check your portals and emails twice a week! Don’t miss out on financial aid or getting accepted to a school because you are not checking your portals and providing the schools additional documentation they may need.

Juniors:

Things to focus on before summer:

  •  Writing your resume
  • Completing your brag sheet
  • Showing demonstrated interest
  • Attending college fairs
