I work with a wide range of presenting issues, supporting people age ranges from 16+ to Older adults and from diverse backgrounds.
My training and experience as a registered nurse, working for many years in healthcare has helped me to better understand and to support you, both in terms of physical and mental challenges.
Over the past ten years I have completed a range of therapeutic training, to support my skills and experience in therapeutic work. However, I decided to focus on the integrative approach, this means that I am able to incorporate different skills and techniques into when working with my clients, for the benefit of their needs and treatment plan. The process is a collaborative and flexible way to work, for you to gain the maximum outcome.
My overall passion is that each and every individual is a unique human being, who deserves to be treated with kindness, compassion and individuality.
I understand that the process of therapy can be a little uneasy for some, due to the idea of talking about deep and personal issues. Therefore, my aim is to reassure you, that I understand how you might be feeling. I want you to know that the information you share with me is acknowledged and remains confidential. Whilst at the same time I will always adhere to the National Counselling Society (NCS) code of ethics in practice.
I have provided a safe, comfortable and private space for you, to feel at ease and to start the process on getting your life back on track.
Just imaging the feeling you will experience when you reach the stage of acceptance and change. I look forward to working with you.
If you wish to find out more about me and the way I work, I would like to invite you to get in touch with me, I will be more than willing to have a chat with you.
