I recognise how important it is to listen and be present with someone in a non-judgemental way as they share their experiences. This is something that I'm passionate about and is the basis of my work with clients today.
Counseling is always offered with out judegment of someone's circumstances.

I started my counselling journey working with clients 20 years ago initially doing voluntary bereavement counselling for the wisdom Hospice in Rochester Kent. This role gave me my first understanding of how important it is to listen and be present with someone in the non-judgemental way as they shared their experiences.
I completed my training to become the qualified accredited psychotherapist, counselllor, and hypnotherapist i am today
and I have continued to develop and add to my skills over the years including training with the late Penny Parks author of ,"Rescuing the Inner Child" to become a PICT practitioner which I now incorporate within my practice alongside and eclectic mix of therapy styles so that there is a therapy that fits the client rather than a client that fits the therapy.

I have a special interest in Adult Autism, ADHD and ADD and have continued to add to my knowledge and understanding of this neurodiversity facilitating formal diagnosis for adults which can bring about a much greater understanding of themselves and an insight in how their life has been affected.
Unfortunately many undiagnosed adults have gone on to developmental health disorders like anxiety depression through a lack of understanding and acceptance of themselves
