Listening to and supporting people is my passion. I have a particular interest in counselling older people and young people as I have nearly 20 years experience working with these client groups in a supporting and listening role.
I choose not to be exclusive about the clients I work with but am open to referrals from all age groups, and have experience of working with a wide variety of clients and a wide range of issues.
I understand the counselling process from a clients perspective having been a client myself. This experience has enabled me to develop an understanding of how it feels to be 'in the chair'.
I use a number of counselling methods, including Psychodynamic, Person centred, CBT, Mindfulness, Nature facilitated therapy and equine facilitated therapy.
I am very passionate about reconnecting people with their natural self, by working with horses and nature to facilitate a journey of self discovery and learning which is known to be highly effective in working through deeply held issues and difficult life challenges.
I am a professional, yet friendly counsellor, and am dedicated to the work that I do. I offer an equal partnership of assisted exploration, trust, support and confidentiality to enable you to explore how you might find resolution and peace within.
