I am 31 years old and currently work for a Specialist Intervention Team within CAMHS. I have also worked in Education and Social Care. I am passionate about helping people whom have severe to moderate mental health problems and strive to ensure that they're getting the best therapeutic service possible.
I have an Advance Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I can use a variety of therapeutic approaches given a client's presenting issues and have knowledge of person centered therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, solution focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, gestalt therapy and transactional analysis. I have also had lots of training around child sexual exploitation, neglect and self-harming behaviour from working within Social Care.
