I know the journey to have got here likely hasn’t been the easiest. No matter who we are or whichever walk of life we hail, to have undertaken this first and hardest step and availing yourself the chance to rejuvenate - this is no small feat and you deserve recognition for your efforts.
I like to get a good insight or understanding of my client's life which in turn can bring them closer to finding their own solutions, I assist and encourage client's to fully investigate their issues, situations or complications.
I couldn't/wouldn't profess to knowing, having or providing any answers or resolutions. Sometimes, when seeking resolutions, we think we are looking for answers when actually we benefit more from having a proper investigation and seeking out some kind of understanding and acceptance.
It is all well and good having 'answers' but to deeply understand how and why we got to this place, or how is it that it is like this, can be much more beneficial. I am happy to spend our session(s) assisting to investigate their situation.
I do this regularly by asking questions to give myself and them a better/deeper clarity, and this allows them to work out if they can have an understanding that will lead them to resolution.
I only 'help' clients I can't 'solve' for them.

How are you, currently?:
We all face uniquely specific, challenging circumstances throughout our lives, often causing us to question our ability to handle these times and hardships alone, even with the support of those around us.
For past generations, seeking help may have been viewed as a sign of weakness, yet few would hesitate to seek aid from a doctor, or assistance from a mechanic - we find and are assisted every day of our lives in one form or another.
Whatever you’re going through or however you’ve come to justify your situation to yourself - you are not alone and help is available.
How is life currently affecting you?
Nowadays more than ever (it seems), we are facing extraordinary constraints from modern living, pressures and demands that when we are at our best we 'handle' and we often take ourselves for granted.
Unfortunately it is when we are not at our peak that trying to manage everyday tasks becomes overwhelming - add to this our ability to put a brave face on it, for the sake of sparing others!
This often leads to heightened periods of doubt, frustration, anger, stress and fear which can lead to health complications, and sustained periods of extreme internal upset.
The benefits of properly being heard are often overlooked or ignored, therapy is classified as being only for those with 'serious' issues, and we forget that therapeutic opportunities take place every day.
Can I work with this therapist?
When looking for a therapist it is good to not only look at their skillset, even though this is important - every-kind of therapy benefits everyone but heightened skills particularly for those difficulties that you are currently experiencing will obviously be better.
Do they have a photo and if so do I think they look like I will be able to get on with them - studies have shown that it is the connection the client feels towards their therapist where the best most beneficial work is completed.
