Hi, I'm Jessie. I have been qualified as a counsellor for the past 5 years, working with adults age 18+ in both short term and long term capacities.
I work with a range of presenting issues/struggles, so whether you are finding something (or many things) difficult, are wanting to explore more about why you may act or respond the way you do, or just want some space to talk and be heard, please do feel free to contact me and we can look at how we may be able to work together to meet your needs.
I have particular experience working with those struggling with low self-esteem, those wanting to explore past experiences and the origins of struggles or behaviours, and those who have experienced different forms of trauma and abuse.
I also have additional training in working with spirituality and a keen interest in the role of nature in therapy.
As a person-centred, integrative counsellor, I would be looking to work with you in a way specific to you, taking into account all that is unique about you. It is important to me to pay attention to your particular needs and wants, the pace at which you want to (or are able to) work and, from there, draw on a range of different modalities (ways of working) in order to best help and support you.
