Hello, my name is Rebecca Masters & I am an integrative counsellor with experience of working in educational and primary health care settings & a military charity.

I am able to use different theoretical approaches in my practice& I am guided by an ethical & professional framework as a registrant member of the National Counselling Society. I attend monthly supervision sessions and take part in various continuing professional development opportunities to support my practice and registration.

My background and experience leading up to becoming a counsellor has been wide and varied:- A nurse in the Queen Alexandra's Royal Naval Nursing Service, and volunteering with Service charities and other community based groups - military and civilian.
I have completed further training in adult safeguarding & child safeguarding & protection; also ethical practice.

I work for Counsellors South West CIC a counselling agency contracted to the NHS facilitating counselling in GP surgeries & volunteer at Hair at The Academy in Exeter, & maintain a private practice.  I am a recognised counsellor for the Royal Marines Association & Royal Marines Charity supporting partners of Serving & ex-Service personnel.

I am an accredited registrant member of the National Counselling Society & hold Professional Civil Liability Insurance. I receive monthly supervision and have a keen interest in continuing professional development & developing my practice.

Coming to personal counselling is not easy and takes courage. It can be challenging as you explore what is uppermost for you & the thoughts, feelings & emotions that surround that. I am available to anyone who feels that they need to talk to someone outside of family or friends, in a safe and confidential space.

I look forward to meeting you soon……………
