As a therapist for both adults & adolescents we understand the impact of today's ever changing world can have on us at any age. At Green Chair, we will offer you the opportunity to talk through your worries and feel more emotionally tolerant for the future ahead; whichever path you choose to take. We can help you build your self-esteem and promote confidence in your own ability; using the tools you already have and new ones you'll develop.
In addition to seeing clients myself, I manage a therapy service in St Albans called Green Chair Counselling Service. Whether you see myself directly, or someone in the team, you'll be working with a therapist who is able to give you the support you need. We see clients from 3 years old and couples for a wide variety of issues. Our trainee therapists run our low cost service, offering sessions for £35 each during the evenings or on weekends.

Adults aged 18+
Are you finding your work/ life balance challenging? Feeling emotionally worn out and exhausted? Struggling with anxiety, depression or anger? In need of help but have no clue where to start?
These are common questions we find clients ask themselves and we’re here to work with you to find the answers. Anxiety, anger, depression & shame are words we're hearing more frequently in our society but have we also become intolerant to experiencing them? We offer you an opportunity to talk through your issues in an emotionally healthy way, aiming for lasting emotional change.
People are individual and so should your therapy. We don't offer a "one size fits all" approach and will work with you as an individual to create a personal therapy experience that can help you to move forward.
Prior to a first session we offer a complimentary 15 minute phone call so we can decide how best we can work with you on your therapy journey. All emails, calls and sessions remain strictly confidential.
Children aged 3-18
Childhood and adolescence is a really important time of our lives where lots of change happens. It's easier than ever to not communicate through face to face contact so we're losing our ability to connect with each other.
There's so much pressure on young people today - to fit in, to do well in exams and to make long term decisions on their future; it's hard to know where to begin. In our work with adolescents we explore this journey with them to help them to understand their different emotions and how to communicate how they feel, however, it doesn't stop there. In our experience it's far more beneficial to work with the primary caregivers as well as young people to ensure the work carries on outside of the therapy room.
If you're calling on behalf of a young person who is over the age of 16 please note we’ll also ask to have a brief chat with them in order to gain their consent to attend therapy.
