There are times in life when things can feel out of control. You might be struggling with anger or anxiety issues. You may have suffered trauma or you might not be sure what is wrong but you are keenly aware of it. It is at these points in life that counselling might be able to help.

I am an experienced and compassionate counsellor, with several years' NHS experience and in Private Practice. I work hard to provide a welcoming, safe and confidential environment where you can explore your concerns.

Counselling is about helping you understand and deal with your concerns, and you will likely gain increased self-awareness. Clients completing therapy often report feeling more fulfilled, happier and confident about themselves and their future.

Just as we invest in our physical and material needs, I believe that investing in the emotional, psychological and spiritual aspects of our lives is always valuable, productive and worth doing.

I have worked with many different concerns such as abuse, anger, anxiety and depression, loss, compulsions and phobias along with issues of complicated grief and bereavement, bullying, non-medical sexual problems, postnatal depression, low self-esteem/self-confidence, self-harm, suicide, Post-Traumatic Stress, PTSD and Complex PTSD and any past or recent trauma.

I have diplomas in Counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, along with a degree in counselling psychology and an MSc in psychological trauma; which means that I can integrate my work to best suit your needs.

If you would like to make an appointment or to have an initial chat to find out if counselling with me is for you, please contact me on 07833 694 357.
