About me
I am a Qualified Psychotherapist working within the Integrative Approach. This means that I use a variety of Therapeutic Techniques ensuring you receive the most beneficial and flexible approach within our work together. I am an accredited member of National Counselling Society MNCS (ACC) and I work within their Ethical Framework for Good Practice.
I am enthusiastic about the benefits counselling can offer in everyone’s unique and special life journey. Working together we will create a Therapeutic Space to explore the specific obstacles you are experiencing and help support you to find your own path to where it is you want to be.
Alongside my private practice I have worked for the past 7 years in a supporting role for People who have multiple and complex needs, to help and support people to maintain their homes, build better relationships with their families, manage complex health problems including Mental Health and Wellbeing, managing finances and preventing homelessness.
What to Expect From Counselling
Through counselling you can expect to be emotionally supported to process incidents from your past that may be affecting you in the present. To understand the root cause of your own fears and anxiety and make sense of them and support you to overcome those fears to reach your own answers and receive non-judgemental validation of the person you are.
Whether it is grief, trauma, relationships, addiction or just the problems of life; I am able to offer you a place to work through and process your difficulties and by doing this you enable yourself to move forward and be free to enjoy the present and the future.
I offer a counselling service which will build a Therapeutic Relationship allowing you a safe space to talk and be heard while supporting you through your own lived experiences. I have extensive experience working with Anxiety and Depression and have worked for 7 years supporting Parents with multiple and complex needs.
