I am trained as an Integrative Psychotherapist which means I work with a range of counselling theories to help you feel listened to and understood while providing a safe, welcoming space to explore your feelings and thoughts. Some of the core theories I'm trained to use are Person Centred, Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness, however I also have skills & experience using creative therapy, sensory approaches, play therapy techniques, sandtray, Lego therapy, Minecraft, DnD and more.

I have always had a passion for working with young people and helping them process some of the struggles they may be facing. I've worked in many settings throughout my years including primary schools, secondary schools, alternative provisions and further education settings.

I believe the relationship between client and counsellor is one of the most important parts of counselling. My main aim in our sessions is to allow you to feel safe and comfortable so that when you feel it's right you can start to talk about some of the things that are troubling you.

My whole approach is based around you and what you want from counselling; whether that is an ear to listen, coping strategies to take away or a place where you can completely be yourself and begin to gently unpack traumas or difficulties you may be facing.
