I know how hard it can be reaching out when things are tough. A lot of people I have worked with have come to me struggling with difficult situations in relationships, work or studies, with long-term health conditions, their children, parents and families. I truly believe that having professional counselling can help people overcome life’s obstacles and know from my own struggles that positive change is possible.
I work with both young adults and adults and have worked over the last 14 years in colleges, universities and in the voluntary sector, as a teacher, facilitator, counsellor, and Specialist Mental Health Mentor providing individual sessions as well as developing and running support groups and training programmes.
I have experience of working successfully with issues such as anxiety, depression, panic attacks, low self-esteem and confidence, neurodiversity (autistic spectrum disorders and ADHD), being a carer, lone parenting, parenting a child with special educational needs, long-term health conditions, relationship difficulties, bullying, and loneliness.
I work tailoring the counselling approaches I use to suit your individual needs and personality. I work alongside you to gain awareness of the thoughts, behaviours and patterns that aren’t supporting you to move forward in your life or to overcome a particular situation.
I offer a free initial 20-minute consultation via telephone or online to help us both decide if we can work together. Having this chat will help to avoid wasting your time and will allow you to make sure you feel comfortable with me.
Please call me or text me on 07355949758.
If I don’t answer, please leave a message (this is a secure line) and I will get back to you as soon as I possibly can.
