Member Status: Accredited

Member No: NCS17-05663

Location: Ballinascreen

I am the Vice-Chairperson for the Mid-Ulster Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MACP) which is a charity that helps adults and young people who are experiencing mental health challenges in their lives; this is voluntary work. I am the designated Child Protection Officer for MACP.
I returned to full-time education after spending 10 years as a welder to become a teacher and subsequently a principal so I know about life challenges when changing direction. Over those years I studied counselling practice and psychotherapy to improve my skills when dealing with issues around mental health. I qualified with a level 6 Diploma, with distinction, in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (informed by research on visible appearance - birthmarks, scarring, acne, eczema, etc). I have a small practice called 'Sonas'(meaning happy) where I offer a confidential, non-judgemental, and a warm, and friendly atmosphere where you can discuss your worries.
Feel free to get in touch to explore together to make those positive changes in your life.
