About Me
My name is Carol.

My aim is to work with clients to help them overcome their struggles, to have self-understanding and to enjoy a meaningful life, either in the home, at work or in relationships.

I provide individuals with a therapeutic relationship by creating a safe space in order to earn trust from clients; trust ensures that they feel able to share things with me that may be preventing them from moving forward.

I have a Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling Practice which I obtained from Leeds Trinity university, I have also completed a Level 4 Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) course which has helped me gain further knowledge and added to my professional development; this has given me a better understanding of CBT and enabled me to weave this model into my counselling work when I feel it is appropriate.
I currently offer counselling and psychotherapy to private clients and those referred by their employer by phone, online or in-person from the Victoria Therapy Centre in Saltaire near Bradford.
I have previous experience working with those with mental health difficulties, learning disabilities and autism. I have also volunteered for various organisations such as the Samaritans, Women’s Aid and Bradford Bereavement Services as well as being a mentor for university students with mental health conditions.
Contact me for more information on how I can help you.
