Counselling isn’t a job for me - it's a vocation. And I think my passion – for what I do as well as for helping the people I work with – is evident and is an important component in why I get excellent results in a therapeutic situation.

As an Integrative Counsellor, I incorporate different techniques and strategies from a range of therapies so I can draw on the most effective methods for your needs.

Most importantly for you though is to find someone who you are happy to talk to and who makes you feel comfortable, supported and ‘heard’. And that’s why my focus is on establishing a good rapport so that I can work with you in a non-judgemental way that helps you feel understood and empowered. Armed with fresh perspectives from our discussions as well as a new sense of self-awareness, we can work together on the most effective therapeutic tools and life strategies to get things on track and bring about the tangible, constructive change you want.

• Qualifications & Experience

  I am a fully qualified counsellor as a Member of the BACP (MBACP) and an accredited member of the of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society, MNCPS (Accred), working within the ethical framework as defined by their Codes of Conduct. I have achieved a Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (Prof. Dip. Psy C) and am also a qualified hypnotherapist.
  
  I have also trained with and worked for Relate, specialising in couples counselling. Furthermore, I have been an accredited therapist for Anxiety UK and have also trained with Cruse Bereavement, specialising in grief and loss. I am also a qualified Applied EFT Practitioner (Level 2).
