Having completed 24 years in the military, I studied behavioural science and qualified as an advanced interviewer and trainer with the detective training school in Hendon. My interest and passion for the subject expanded and resulted in my studying for advanced diploma in therapy and counselling, graduating in 2019. Since my graduation, I have worked extensively with children, young people and military veterans. I am now also a counsellor tutor for Chrysalis, teaching year 1 students at Southampton university, as well as counsellor/therapist with NoLimits, covering Hampshire. I practice CBT as well as psychoanalytical therapies.
