Hello, and thank you for taking the time to visit my profile. I appreciate that you may be at a difficult place right now and reaching out to seek support takes courage.

There are times in life when all of us struggle and in that you are not alone. Many of us experience anxiety, depression, stress and trauma, in addition to challenging circumstances, life changes, illness, bereavement, relationship difficulties, and work issues. Whatever you are finding difficult, I truly believe that counselling may benefit you.

As a person-centred counsellor I believe our relationship will be the key that may enable change in your life. My aim is to create a safe space, without judgement, in which you feel valued for being yourself. It is in this way and by always endeavouring to understand issues from your point of view that our relationship may be of therapeutic value. As we continue to work together this may enable you to become aware of more of yourself, and to empower you to move towards a life that brings you greater stability and contentment. As a non-directive practitioner, the pace and content of the therapeutic space is yours to decide, although I shall be an active participant in what you bring. I shall accompany and support you empathically on your journey, wherever you choose to go, at the time that is right for you.

With a commitment to my ongoing professional development, I engage in reflective practice, regular supervision, and undertake training opportunities and reading the latest research. I am an ethical practitioner and work within the NCPS and BACP Ethical Frameworks.
