I am a warm and friendly therapist and resident counsellor at Greenhouse Therapies Chester and also offer a small clinic in Wrexham. I am highly experienced in working with a variety of issues ranging from depression and anxiety through to work stress, relationship issues and loss. I have a degree in psychology and counselling as well as a Masters degree in clinical counselling and am on the National Counselling Society register.
I have a special interest in addictive behaviours an area with which I work on understanding each individuals self soothing technique which is causing discomfort, through careful discussion we work together on establishing the roots of it as well as finding steps towards finding a more positive way of being.
Before working in private practice, I worked for a leading alcohol/substance misuse charity in North Wales as well as an NHS funded mental health agency completing assessments and providing short term counselling
