I am an Integrative Psychotherapist working within a small private practice in Northampton, offering short or long term counselling to individual adults.

As an Integrative Psychotherapist I am able to employ techniques from a number of different approaches to personalise your therapy in accordance with your own personal needs.
My therapy room offers a safe, confidential & non-judgemental space where I can help you explore and make sense of painful and overwhelming issues, which can weigh you down and make it difficult to cope with everyday life. I believe that you are the expert on your own life and will know the best way forward for you, even if it may be difficult for you to see at this moment in time. Therapy can help you gain insight into your issues and bring about the necessary change required to enhance your mental & emotional wellbeing.

I have a genuine fascination for people and their individual stories. Having worked within the mental health and safeguarding arena’s for many years I am able to employ this diverse experience to inform my practice as a Psychotherapist. As a counselling volunteer for Rape Crisis I have significant experience of working with survivors of sexual violence. Additionally, I have worked with the Police service for 18 years, developing a real passion for working individually with emergency services, medical or armed forces personnel to help them process the manifold trauma they encounter in their working lives.

My therapy room is based within a private clinic in central Northampton, within walking distance of bus and train stations, and with nearby car parking. I also work online and via telephone, which enables me to offer appointments to clients further afield, or whom find it difficult to attend the practice.

I work professionally and ethically to the National Counselling Society Code of Ethical Practice.
