As a fully registered and certified Counselling Psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist my practice (Evermore Therpies) is based in Sheffield, however I have had many clients nearby throughout the South Yorkshire and Derbyshire regions.
My practice offers a calm, inclusive, and safe space for all.
I am a calm, caring and understanding practitioner, with extensive experience working with and have worked for many years in child development, rehabilitation, re-anlement (following trauma or changed life circumstances) and have work within the charity mental health sector offering psychotherapeutic interventions and supporting NHS incentives to meet the mental health needs of long term mental health sufferers.
I utilise an integrative modality, drawing from a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Person-Centred therapy and Attachment theory).
I frequently work with a range of individual needs including: ADHD, Alcohol Dependence, Anger, Anxiety, Debt Counselling, Depression, Domestic Abuse, Internet Addiction, Insomnia, Loss and Bereavement, OCD, Physical & Psychological abuse, PTSD, Rape, Self Development, Sexual Abuse, Sex Addiction, Self Harm, Self-esteem and confidence, Sleep issues, Stress, Trichotillomania, Trauma and work-related problems.
I utilise 3 main types of therapy which include: Hypnotherapy, face to face counselling and online counselling.
As a former firefighter I have significant experience and a first hand understanding of working with varying trauma related issues and have great experience working with blue light & service personnel, both active and former.
