I offer a safe, empathic space where you will be met with support and understanding. With my approach, building a good therapeutic relationship is vital and this will be an important part of our work together. In my experience each person holds the key to their own healing and my hope is that our work together can help unlock that potential. As an integrative counsellor I will work with you at your own pace, adapting my approach to your individual needs and helping you to discover how you can live in a more satisfying and resourceful way. I seek to empower my clients to find their own path to mental good health.
The body and the mind are intrinsically linked and we can learn a great deal about one from the other. We will bring this body awareness into our sessions. We could also work creatively, with tools like drawing, writing and sandtray, to name a few. We may also explore visualisations and meditations or breathing exercises. I have a deep connection to the natural world; I continue to explore how nature and animals can help us to slow down and hold our own pace, amidst the stress of our modern lives.
