Hello, I’m Angela, and I’m here to help you navigate life’s challenges with empathy, compassion, and a holistic approach to well-being. With over eight years of experience in therapeutic counselling, I’ve had the privilege of supporting many individuals through a wide range of personal struggles, such as, stress, depression, anxiety, grief, or trauma.
My background includes a BSc in Therapeutic Counselling, multiple years working within NHS Talking Therapies and time spent supporting various private and charitable organisations.
I believe that healing involves caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. That’s why, along with evidence-based therapies like Person-Centred Experiential Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness, I also offer holistic practices like Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping), Reiki, and Meditation. These tools can help you address emotional distress in a way that feels right for you.
I have experience working with individuals from all walks of life, both in-person and remotely, and I understand how important it is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood. Whether we’re working through feelings of loss, navigating anxiety, or building healthier relationships, my approach is always focused on what matters most to you.
Throughout my career, I’ve also worked with people in bereavement, supported the LGBTQ+ community, and helped parents facing difficult situations. My goal is to meet you where you are and offer the compassionate support you need to move forward.
On a personal note, I love crafting and quizzes, but my favourite way to escape the stresses of daily life is to immerse myself in nature. Whether it’s a long walk in the forest, climbing a hill, or simply admiring the birds in my garden, I find peace in connecting with the natural world.
