Mates in Mind

At 121 counselling.co.uk, I am sincerely committed to helping each individual reach a place of contentment and well-being, by becoming the best versions of themselves, that they can be. I truly respect and value each diverse individual in their way of being and uniqueness of seeing the world. I truly believe, we all have the capacity and potential to live a nourishing and fulfilling life, though, throughout this journey of life, we can sometimes find ourselves at a crossroad with unwanted feelings, and with an intense desire of wanting things to be different, but not knowing how to change them. We can and will be met with challenges, changes and choices that may need to be reflected upon and explored, and this is where I am able to help by walking alongside you in that journey, whether this is for a short while or longer-term.

You may know what is specifically troubling you or may have a more general feeling of unease or dissatisfaction in your life that you would like to look at more closely and I am confident that opening up is the first step. I believe, we have far more inner resources than we realise and that the experience of feeling truly listened to and understood by another person helps us discover our deeper, and often hidden, strengths.

I offer genuineness, warmth and non-judgement within a safe and confidential space for you to explore any thoughts or feelings that have been prominent in your life, whether in the past, the present or quite possibly both, together we will work to create a therapeutic relationship based on trust, openness and respect meeting as equals.

Starting therapy can feel daunting though incredibly freeing and rewarding once you get started.
The therapeutic relationship is fundamental within this process and finding the right therapist paramount.

Congratulations on making the first and most important step. Danny
