I am the cofounder of NAOS (Bristol ) CIC and spent 7 years working as their CEO and within their directorship before recently returning to focus on client work and my private practice in Backwell, North Somerset . I continue to see adults and couples for therapy and also offer clinical supervision.
I work relationally and have also been further trained to work with trauma and to offer couples work . I work alongside you to support you to increase personal stability so that you can safely explore whatever you wish to work on.
I am a qualified supervisor and aim to provide a safe co-created space where a supervisee can “divest, explore, learn and restore” (Rogers, 1951). The concept of developing self-awareness and exploring internal process is paramount to the way I prefer to work .
Whilst I hold person centred values at the core of my practice, I am able to draw on aspects of other models to support integrative and creative work.
I value a collaborative approach to supervision that offers safe and constructive challenge and opportunities to explore both the work, and you ,the therapist , within that work.
