Counselling, Supervision, EMDR and Hypnotherapy services based in Northwich.

Our emotional and mental health is a huge part of who we are, If we are struggling emotionally or experiencing difficult thoughts and feelings then this can also impact on who we are and the life we live.

I offer a range of services to support you in improving your emotional and mental health.

I provide a safe, confidential space to explore whatever may be troubling you and provide emotional support for as long as you need it - whether it is through short term coping strategies or a more long-term approach.

Taking the space to explore difficulties in a safe and supportive way, is the first step in working through and overcoming them.

I qualified as a Person Centred Counsellor in 2010 and have over 14 years experience working in different counselling organisations and charities. Person-Centred means that I work with what you bring in a way that will work best for you. I recognise that everyone is different and unique and hold your understanding of the world at the heart of every session.

In 2017 I decided to begin my own private practice in Northwich and now provide Counselling, Supervision, EMDR and Hypnotherapy.

In addition to my therapeutic work, I am a qualified Supervisor and offer regular sessions to both trainee and qualified counsellors. I work with the Hawkins and Shohet seven-eyed model and create a collaborative space for you to reflect on your professional work or explore new skills and new ways of working.

Supervision is an important and valuable resource for therapeutic work and I therefore offer all new Supervisees a 30 minute complimentary session to explore our compatibility to work together. I hope to answer any questions you may have and we can also use this time to complete necessary paperwork.
Supervision usually takes place once a month for 90 minutes in accordance with membership body guidelines. Trainees may have different requirements which I am happy to discuss. I also offer telephone/email support if required outside of these sessions.

Appointments are arranged through self-referral by contacting me direct. Sessions are available via telephone or video call and can be accessed anywhere in the UK. Please enquire if you would prefer an in-person appointment.

During our first appointment we can discuss your expectations and requirements around your therapy and I am happy to answer any questions you may have.

I provide all new clients with a copy of my therapy agreement which explains more about the way I work as a practitioner, GDPR and confidentiality.

Counselling sessions last 50 minutes, EMDR and Hypnotherapy last 90 minutes. We can discuss whether you prefer them to take place weekly, fortnightly, or less frequent.

Payment can be made by:

Bank Transfer (payment required in advance)

Cash/Cheque (not available for online/telephone clients)

Credit/Debit card
