I provide a kind and welcoming space, where you can feel safe to share what is going on for you. Please know I will always listen, and do my best to understand you.
Creating a safe space for you to share your thoughts, and to feel heard without judgement, is paramount for me. Psychotherapy and counselling sessions with me, will involve working through things at a pace you feel comfortable with. I appreciate taking these initial steps can feel uncomfortable and overwhelming, and I understand it can take time. I offer my reassurance that I am here to support you through this process.
How I work:
I offer an integrative approach and will tailor our sessions to suit your needs. I may also share some suggestions and techniques along the way, to help support you in day to day life. Being an integrative therapist means I use a combination of therapeutic approaches; including psychotherapy, counselling, mindfulness, visualisation and relaxation techniques, and CBT.
I aim to support you in creating better balance within your life, and to feel more able and prepared to make the changes you are seeking.
Experience and areas of interest:
I offer support in many areas. These include, but are not limited to: anxiety disorders, stress, depression, self-confidence and self-esteem, past trauma, domestic abuse, relationship issues, loss and grief, work related issues.
Special interests:
I have a specialist interest in infertility and pregnancy loss. As well as being a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, I am a Certified Hypnotic Fertility Practitioner. I can help you with creating a more balanced mindset and managing the emotions that can arise with fertility struggles. I am a member of the British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA) and I have completed baby loss awareness training with Time Norfolk.
