I offer down to earth, compassionate, one to one confidential counselling. I cover the Glastonbury, Street, Wells and Shepton Mallet area and surrounding villages. Sessions are from a counselling room in South Horrington, Wells, there is parking available. You can contact me directly and do not need to be referred by your GP or other professional.

Whether you need help with a particular issue or with a situation or experience that is affecting your life, talking therapy can really help to reduce the burden of worries that have been weighing you down and improve your well being.

Perhaps you'd like to gain a deeper understanding of how past experiences may be impacting you in the present, how this shows up in your thoughts and feelings and how, with skilled and focused support, you can be helped to make the changes you need.

You are unique so I aim to work with your experiences in a way that is best suited to you. I work with a range of issues that can cause distress, as well as having a passion for working with self-esteem, suicidal thinking, and communication issues that prevent us from getting what we need and impede relationships.

I'm a qualified counsellor and accredited registrant with The National counselling Society and work in a person-centred way, sometimes integrating tools from other therapeutic approaches, depending on individual need.

Some of the issues I can help with:

Depression
Anxiety
Stress
Self-esteem
Difficulties in personal relationships
Wellbeing
Bereavement
Intrusive thoughts

I work individually with adults, in person, where you will be welcomed to be yourself without filters. To heal and flourish we need to feel safe enough to explore ourselves and the things that trap us in feelings of shame, to be accepted without judgement, the darkness and the light.

Taking the first step:

I can offer you brief or long term therapy, depending on what you decide you need. This can be anything from 1 or 2 sessions to something more long term, for a year or more. It's entirely up to you.

Whatever your reasons for thinking about having therapy, I want you to feel as comfortable and safe in your choice as you can be so if you contact me be assured I will get back to you as soon as I can. Please email me when getting in touch.
