I welcome all areas of needs in my clients, though my special interest and where I place the most investment regarding professional advancement, is trauma.
We all experience trauma, trauma is not only dramatic and abusive; it's not what happened, it's how your mind and body have or haven't processed what happened. Trauma is more about the symptoms of the mind and body, and this is what I work with.
I work within the relationship with you, your challenges to share and be vulnerable, for example, can be a big part of healing and we can use our relationship to offer the safety to do this within. I support you to learn about your body, how it communicates with you, your challenges in hearing/tolerating the feelings it brings, and what you can do to offer your body what it needs, so it no longer holds you back.
You can get a further idea of how I work on my website and my social media profiles. I blog and share content that underpins our wellbeing and have a passion for sharing it to whoever I'm able to reach.
I hold a first class honours degree in Psychology, and Level 7 diploma in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy.
I am a certified Brainspotting practitioner and a hold a certification in Adoption Support Counselling which is required to support clients with any adoption related issues.
