Hello, My name is Michelle.
Whether you are looking for a counsellor for yourself, or for someone else, I realise what a daunting task it can be. Many people spend years thinking they can "snap out of it" or "sort themselves out" or thinking "nothing can be done, this is just the way life is"
The fact you have found yourself here suggests that you are looking for change in some aspect of your life and you are thinking about reaching out for help.
Knowing what a difficult decision this can be I don't want to overwhelm you with lots of counselling jargon and pages and pages of text. Following, I will give you some basic information and a link to my website should you wish to find out more about me and the work I do.
I offer private counselling face-to-to face in Southend-on-Sea. I have counselling rooms in Weston road that are quiet and comfortable, conveniently located near to bus and train routes with adequate parking nearby. There are a number of businesses operating from this address adding an extra layer of confidentiality.
I also have a counselling room inside the Welcome Gym Southend building but set away from the main gym area. The beauty of this room is that to anyone else it looks like you are going to the gym, then, once upstairs you can pop into my room unnoticed. My room is also used for sports massage by others which adds to the confidentiality. The room is away from everyone else and with the music from the gym providing background noise there is no risk of being overheard. I can also offer you free parking at this location.
If you prefer, you can have counselling sessions by phone or via a secure online platform (Zoom) This can change weekly depending on your circumstances.
