Making the decision to come to counselling is a valuable investment in yourself, creating an opportunity where we can work together towards positive change. As a counsellor and psychotherapist, I can provide support in a safe, warm, confidential, personal environment to encourage self-exploration, insight and awareness; working towards making sense of the difficulties and issues which may be causing emotional distress and anxiety.

I am committed to supporting your work towards facing what you want & need to face, at your own pace, a session at a time. I have 12 years of experience working in the substance misuse/addictions field and very aware of what issues can develop through the misuse of alcohol or drug use, and the impact this can have on an individual and on their families. I have experience working with women and men around problems such as domestic abuse, depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem.

I believe that everyone has a unique story, embedded and intertwined within a bigger picture; family, and the wider world. Challenges can arise in different ways and manifest in multiple forms throughout life, making it difficult to move forward.

I can help support your work through fear, anger, anxiety, & stress,  that may be harming your relationship with yourself, your personal relationships or friendships? Maybe you are supporting or working with the challenges of others who are experiencing & perhaps projecting their fear, anger, anxiety, & stress on you, maybe someone close to you? Perhaps you have reached a point in your life or are at a crossroads, and unable to see your way forward, or you may be grieving the loss of something or someone dear?

I work with adults from 18+

I offer therapy sessions face to face, online, via telephone, or outside in nature providing walk and talk therapy. I do offer a free phone consultation before therapy sessions start.

I am flexible on the working hours described and I will accommodate where I can, outside of the session hours. Please feel free to ask.
