I’m an integrative counsellor and I believe you know yourself best. Our work together can help you to explore and make sense of your powerful or painful issues. I offer an accepting space where you can feel heard and supported to explore your feelings and emotions with compassion.
Everyone is unique and what you bring to counselling will be your story. Much of my counselling practice has included supporting people going through transitions, coming to an understanding of the impact of life experiences such as; intergenerational traumas, being an adult survivor of childhood emotional abuse and trauma and surviving domestic abuse.
From workplace stress and burnout and how that impacts your relationships with family, friends and how you feel about yourself, to physical symptoms in your body, such as illness or tiredness, I can support you to explore the issues you are facing and discover the 'what and how' to changes you might want to make.
I have worked as a counsellor within a Primary Care GP practice as well as my own private counselling practice. I undertake regular clinical supervision, hold full liability insurance and am a registered member of NCPS, working within their ethical framework.
