Thank you for reading this. Hopefully what follows, is someone you feel you might be able to connect with.
I have always had a passion for counselling; an accredited integrative counsellor with a person-centred core, meaning individualistic approaches to counselling can be tailored to your particular needs. By finding this page you may have already taken the first steps on your personal journey.
I am completely dedicated to my practice of counselling and am also a BACP Accredited Counsellor.
I am qualified to provide bespoke CBT sessions and the opportunity for sandplay therapy, which can help to facilitate working at relational depth. I have also volunteered for a national bereavement charity since 2016, developing my specialism in bereavement and loss counselling; working with clients of all ages.
For my children and young people's counselling, I started working in clinical practice in 2018 and am listed on the NCPS CYPT Accredited Register as an accredited child and young persons therapist. I counsel children and young people who are experiencing behavioural, social and emotional difficulties, utilising a variety of effective creative approaches. My background in primary education of 30 years illustrates my commitment to helping children and young people lead fulfilled lives. To develop my psychotherapy qualifications for this work, I studied with Leeds Beckett University, Place2Be and Roehampton University and am an Accredited Play and Creative Arts Therapist.
I hold an enhanced DBS and professional liability insurance; working within the ethical principles of the registering body.
