The client is the most important person in a therapeutic relationship, my job is to help you feel valued, and understood so you also believe this. My ideal client will want to work towards processing their feelings, achieving their goals and be willing to work with me to make this happen. I like to work with clients that are struggling with making sense of life. Feeling unable to move on from past experiences, having that space and time to reflect and process things can make a huge difference. I enjoy providing an environment to help my clients work through what's happening for them.
My core approach is person-centred; my specialisms are bereavement, working with teenagers and suicide. I offer my clients a supportive, warm judgement free space. From time to time we all need help to get back on track. I aid my clients to normalise their feelings, helping them understand that is ok to not be ok.
