I have more than ten years experience working with adult female clients recovering from the effects of domestic abuse and childhood sexual abuse. In addition to my qualifications in counselling and hypnotherapy, I am a trained nurse and an Independent Domestic Violence Advisor which gives me a more in depth knowledge around practical safeguarding issues, the implications for children growing up in abuse and the physical and mental health issues as a result of abuse. Along with my private practice in Basingstoke and Guildford I am a lead group facilitator running 12 week group sessions for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse based on the programme I have written. I am currently working for a North London Rape Crisis service delivering counselling three days per week and have introduced Qigong as a way of physically releasing trauma from the body.
I have recently published a book (21/12/2020) entitled 'Cancer - A Magical Quest' and I supported the survivor featured in the Flying Child Project https://theflyingchild.com
