NCPS | Regional Representatives

What is a Regional Representative?

Relationships are central to what we all do, and fostering positive, productive connections with our members and their communities, is something we wish to continue to develop more at the NCPS.

The Society recognises there are specific challenges experienced by practitioners and their clients at a regional level and is keen to better understand the realities of working in different local areas.

Our aim, over time, is to create a network of regional representatives across the UK, to be our eyes and ears on the ground informing us of the political, social and professional landscape unique to their local area. This information will enable us to shape policies and focus our activity in the right places.

Meet Our Regional Representatives

Cherelle Mead - Wales

Cherelle is an integrative psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, and consultant, and she is honoured to serve as the NCPS Representative for Wales. Her work is grounded in inclusivity, trauma-informed practice, and a deep commitment to supporting individuals from all backgrounds. Cherelle’s passion for advocacy is shaped by her own lived experiences at the intersections of poverty, race, gender diversity, and neurodivergence. In her role, she is dedicated to listening to, representing, and amplifying the voices of NCPS members across Wales—especially those from marginalised or underrepresented communities. She warmly encourages members to reach out with ideas, concerns, or suggestions. Together, she believes, we can build a more equitable and connected future for the profession.
