We are so pleased to release this special edition of Counselling Matters. This edition uniquely differs from our usual member exclusive magazine; it’s a collection of stories, experiences and creative writing around bereavement.
This special edition of our magazine came about after we received an overwhelming amount of member contributions for our Bereavement edition released in June. We decided to create a special edition to share these personal experiences from our members. We have titled this magazine 'Bereavement - Your Stories'.
Our well loved magazine is normally exclusive to members, however, we wanted to share this special edition with a wider audience. Bereavement will affect everyone in their lifetime, including those who are there to support others. So we hope that sharing this magazine publicly not only brings comfort, understanding and perspective but most of all we hope that sharing our stories lets people know they are not alone and that it is ok to ask for help if and when they need it.
