NCPS | Working with clients who are 'stuck'

Friday 16th November 2018

Impasse Theory presented by Gemma Mason

What do you do when clients become stuck in counselling?

Impasse theory is an aspect of Transactional Analysis (TA) which can be used to help clients who become stuck during counselling. There are moments in counselling when we, our client or both can feel stuck with the therapeutic process.

The Redicision school of Transactional Analysis gives us some useful insight with Impasse Theory. This day will include theoretical material and the opportunity for some 'live' redecision work and the presentation of case material.

The workshop will be held at Friendship Hall, High Street, Weston-super-Mare (opposite our premises at Emmanuel Church). The workshop will run from 9:30-17:00 and cost £55 each or £35 for students. For more information or to book your place please email Claire at
